Most tattoos require 6–12 sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Smaller or simpler tattoos may need fewer sessions, while large multi-colour tattoos may need more. Your clinician will give you a personalized estimate at your consultation.
Most clients describe the sensation as similar to a rubber band snap. We apply topical numbing cream before every treatment to maximize your comfort throughout the session.
After numbing, you'll feel brief pulses of energy as the laser targets the ink. Each pulse is fast — the sensation is momentary. Most sessions take between 15 and 45 minutes depending on the size of your tattoo.
In many cases, yes — complete removal is achievable. Results depend on factors such as ink colour, tattoo age, depth, and your skin type. PicoWay is particularly effective at removing even stubborn colours that other lasers struggle with.
