Expectations
Pigment correction takes time and typically requires more than one session. To create the most effective plan for you, we consider factors such as your skin type, age, overall health, and lifestyle.
-
The number of sessions needed will depend on how concentrated and intense the pigmentation is. In most cases, we suggest a series of three treatments spaced roughly six weeks apart for optimal results.
-
Most people tolerate pigment or spot treatments well without the need for pain management, but topical numbing can be provided if you’re concerned about discomfort.
-
Downtime may last up to a week. Following treatment, your skin can feel red, dry, and sensitive, so we advise avoiding direct sun exposure, active skincare ingredients, and makeup while your skin heals.
