Using local anesthesia. A small amount of skin is carefully removed beneath the base of the nose to elevate the upper lip and improve facial balance. The incision is placed within the natural crease beneath the nose to allow for discreet healing.
Procedure
Mild swelling and tenderness are common during the first few days as the area begins to heal. Sutures are typically removed within one week, and most patients return to normal daily activities shortly after. As healing progresses, the lips appear naturally fuller with improved definition and a more youthful smile.
